2030 Annular Eclipse 

On June 1, 2030, an annular, or "ring of fire," solar eclipse will occur in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. In Africa, the path of annularity will cross over Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya. In Europe, the path of annularity will cross over Malta, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Russia. In the Middle East, the path of annularity will cross over Turkey. In Asia, the path of annularity will cross over Kazakhstan, Russia, China, and Japan. In the U.S., a partial solar eclipse will occur in parts of Alaska on May 31. The maximum duration of annularity for this eclipse will be 5 minutes and 21 seconds.
The maps below show the path of annularity over Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. To experience the annular, or "ring of fire," phase of the eclipse, you must be located within the path of annularity represented on the maps below. Areas outside the path of annularity will get a partial solar eclipse only.
